How To Become A Member Of Tau Rho
There are three ways you can become a member of Tau Rho:
As An Undergraduate Student - Senior Quinnipiac nursing students who have completed at least 1/2 of the nursing curriculum, rank in the upper 35 percent of their graduating class and have achieved academic excellence (grade point average at least a 3.5) are eligible to join Tau Rho.
As A Graduate Student - Master's degree students enrolled in Quinnipiac's Graduate Nursing Program who have completed at least 1/4 of the nursing curriculum and have achieved academic excellence (grade point average at least a 3.5) are eligible to join Tau Rho. If you are a graduate student who has already been inducted into Sigma Theta Tau at a prior school or has joined as a nurse leader, you are eligible for dual membership. Dual membership means maintaining membership in more than one chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International. Dual members pay one international membership fee and chapter fees for all of the chapters to which they belong.
As A Nurse Leader - Registered Nurses, legally recognized to practice in their countries, who hold at least a baccalaureate degree in nursing or other field and have demonstrated achievement in nursing are eligible to join. Each year hundreds of nurses who have successful, established nursing careers are inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International. If you are interested or you know a qualified fellow RN colleague who might be interested in applying for membership to Tau Rho you can Download our information packet for more information.
